Everyone who works at The Duck and Puddle, an upmarket pub, wants to be somewhere else... everyone that is, except Jeff. While Laura strives to shed waitressing for a career in fashion design, Ellie just wants to get through her college degree without failing, and Simon desperately tries to make the dream of his own bar a reality, Jeff thinks his life is perfect in every respect... except one: Laura.

Best friends for years, Jeff has realised that she is the one, but can't quite find the right way or time to tell her how he feels. It will take the chaos of running The Duck and Puddle's most important private party ever to bring about change for everyone, but not necessarily in the ways they might expect.
